Professor X, Magneto, & Wolverine: Coolest Dudes on the Planet?

Short answer: yes. Thanks for reading.

Long answer:

Talking with my girlfriend @LQuitto15 this weekend, it occured to us: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Hugh Jackman are all awesome. Borrowing the words of the great poet Fabolous, “[they’re] a movement by themselves, but a force when [they’re] together.” In addition to being three incredibly talented actors in their own right, when you put the three of them together, hilarity ensues. Need proof? Watch them do impressions of their fellow cast members. Need more proof and have 20min to kill? Watch this entire Q&A. MORE proof? Go f*** yourself. Everyone loves McAvoy, Fassbender, and Jackman. You have no soul. (jklol, feel free to continue watching the Graham Norton interview here and here).

If you aren’t familiar with the lives and/or work of these MARVELous X-Bros, allow me to drop a little knowledge and a whole lot of biased opinion on you.

The three best friends that anyone could have.

The three best friends that anyone could have.

James McAvoy wanted to be a priest growing up. Thank the Lord he changed his mind. **BAD JOKE ALERT**: McAvoy got his break on Spielberg’s “Band of Brothers.” His new band of brothers are a helluva lot more awesome and I’m “Shameless” enough to admit it.

McAvoy movie to check out: Starter for 10 (I’ve also heard good things about Filth, but have yet to check it out)

He can also stand in ridiculous and borderline physically impossible positions in the name of entertainment.

Michael Fassbender dreamed of becoming a rock star guitarist growing up. He didn’t become a legendary guitarist. He did play a minotaur in a music video for a rock band. Tomato, tomato. One thing’s for sure, he is a rock star and I’m “fassinated” by him. He’s also terrifed of leprechauns even though he is half Irish.

Fassbender flick to watch: Hunger.

Hugh Jackman is a badass. When he was a kid, he was so enamored with the “Friday the 13th” series that he wanted to play Jason when he grew up. That’s how badass Hugh Jackman is. He’s also one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. Apparently. I wouldn’t know because I’m a pleb.

Jackman movie(s) to see: The Fountain, The Prestige

That’s all. Which other movies have they done that you loved them in? Any other antics they’ve been involved in that made your heart smile? Let For the Bl0g know!
