Well I did ask Marvel for a street level team of super-heroes for their next round of movies… I didn’t get exactly that but instead we will be getting four new live action TV shows that will be available for everyone with Netflix. You may be asking yourself, “Well what characters will we be getting, Naz? Tell us dammit!” We have Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones AKA Power Woman. Netflix and Marvel come together to give us thirteen episodes for all four of these shows. After all the series are over, we’ll be treated to a climatic mini series titled “The Defenders.” Part of me is very excited of this prospect. Daredevil is one of my favorite heroes in the Marvel universe and I am more than stoked to see him get his own series. On the other hand, I am not the biggest fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show. Agent Coulson is the best thing about that show, the rest of the starring cast of actors seem like something out of regular ol’ Law & Order. Nothing really seem genuine about their acting. It all seems a bit too cookie-cutter for my tastes. I’ll hold on to hope that Marvel will pull this off and there is still plenty of time to get this right. 2015 may just be Marvel’s biggest cinematic year. We have The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and now these four heroes getting their own shows! Chime in on the comment section to let us know what you think of all this. Who do you hope is the villain that will force these heroes to come together?
