(Spoilers Ahead) Costume Continuity Problems in Uncanny Avengers #14

Written by Joe Naz (@Naz_islike)

So while reading Uncanny Avengers #14, I noticed some small mishaps when it came to the damage on the costumes of our heroes. While it didn’t ruin the issue for me, it did take me out of the moment for a bit. Enough to go back into the past pages I read to see If there was anymore. I do have a draft of the review for Uncanny Avengers #14 that will be released tomorrow. For now though, lets take a peak at some of these weird costume problems! Continue reading

When Thanksgiving Goes Wrong

Author: Jay-Rey (@jay_rey)

(Via Wikipedia)

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and it is often the start of the Holiday Season. Shopping, snowflake decorations, Christmas Carols, and all of that other fun, bright stuff that comes with one of the most popular holidays in the western hemisphere. But lets tone down that Christmas cheer to remember that we still have to make it through Thanksgiving. May we all make it out alive…

If you recall the 2007 sensation, Grindhouse, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez joined forces to bring you back to back horror and gore in a way not seen for years. As great as both movies were, my favorite part was actually the intermission trailers. Below is Eli Roth’s trailer for Thanksgiving, a fictional horror movie about a murderous pilgrim traumatizing a small town during the celebration period for one of our countries oldest celebrated traditions.

Be warned, its NSFW, and probably shouldn’t be watched anytime near eating turkey. But its awesome, regardless. Enjoy!

Marvel has officially announced that the two young actors will be portraying one of Marvel’s most infamous siblings for the upcoming sequel.

This weekend, the number 1 movie in box offices was The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The sequel to the 2012 film adaptation of The Hunger Games, it is hitting the world by storm. The internet is full of Jennifer Lawrence (affectionately dubbed as J-Law by my brother, and a bunch of other internet dwellers), who has been out promoting her latest film endeavor. After her big win last year for Silver Linings Playbook (which was a surprisingly awesome movie), audiences are ready to see this young actress continue to wow us. But let me stop gushing over her, lets review.

Review: Sex Criminals #3 – “BANNED BY ITUNES, SUED BY QUEEN”

As usual, issue #3 delivers a beautiful cover (image courtesy of Image Comics)

Dear readers, I said I wasn’t knocked out seeing stars with the last two issues and I’d keep you posted. Well, let I’ll be damned if a bunch of people on the internet think I’m a lady who won’t follow through on her word! I might be seeing some stars, guys. This issue pretty much has me sold on the series. Who knows, maybe I was really in the mood for this issue and it hit me in the right way at the right time (as certain series and certain issues are known to do) but dang am I head over boots for Sex Criminals #3. I’m going to encourage Naz to put this at the top of his read list this week, and this subtly implies that you should probablyyyy go do the same.
